[VIDEO] RNC Chairwoman Scolds Tom Perez For His Vulgar Anti-GOP Rhetoric Straight To His Face

If only we had more Republicans who will stand up and not be bullied by the loud mouths from the Democrat Party.

Republican National Committee chairman Ronna Romney McDaniel rebuked her Democratic counterpart Tom Perez Sunday, scolding him on live television for his use of vulgar-laced anti-Republican rhetoric.

Speaking on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” Romney McDaniel, niece of 2012 Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney, admonished Perez, the chairman of the Democratic National Committee, for his recent pattern of using profanity to condemn Republicans.

Romney McDaniel’s comments came during a discussion about the Republican effort to repeal and replace Obamacare and after show host Chuck Todd noted that independents and centrists don’t feel like they belong in either political party right now.

“With all due respect, when Tom’s saying Republicans don’t give a blank about anyone, when he goes around and says that about the other party. I know Democrats care about other people, we just have a difference of opinion on the path to get there,” Romney McDaniel said.

“But that type of rhetoric doesn’t bring people to our parties. We have to have reasonable discussions, have a dialogue, be respectful of each other, but share our opinions as to what the best path is to get to the same place we both want to go, which is a better life or our kids, for our grandkids,” she added.

While speaking at an event in New Jersey in early April, Perez claimed that Republicans “don’t give a sh*t about people.” The comment incited outrage from the GOP. But it wasn’t the first or last time that Perez would use profanity to denounce Republicans.

In fact, Perez has even been rebuked by members of his own party for his profanity-laced rhetoric.

But when he was challenged by Todd over whether or not he regrets his comments, Perez ducked the question and began to recite Democratic talking points about the GOP effort to repeal Obamacare. The Senate is currently working on their own Obamacare repeal bill, while the House passed a bill in May.

“It’s a tax cut bill for the mega wealthy masquerading as a health care bill,” Perez claimed

Perez may have dodged Todd’s question, but it’s clear Perez does not regret his anti-GOP rhetoric. “Sorry, not sorry” was the response he gave after his comments in New Jersey made headlines.

Heated rhetoric has become a topic of discussion in the last month after a lone gunman opened fire on a group of congressional Republicans practicing for the annual Republican versus Democrat baseball game that raises money for charity. The gunman was ultra-liberal and his hatred of President Donald Trump and Republicans is believed to be the motive of the shooting.

That gunman, James Hodgkinson, was the only person to die in the shooting after he was confronted by House Majority Whip Steve Scalise’s Capitol Police security detail.
