Federal Prosecutor Called On to Investigate Hillary Clinton for ‘Obstruction of Justice’

And still nothing will be done to this heathen. NOTHING.

Hillary Clinton was let off the hook earlier this summer when The Department of Justice hastily dropped the mysterious case of the missing emails.

The flurry of activity coinciding around that curious decision was punctuated by an odd press conference delivered by FBI Director James Comey, followed by a pronouncementby Attorney General Loretta Lynch that ‘of course, she’d be taking the advice of the FBI and would cease investigation of Mrs. Clinton posthaste.’

As is always the case with the Clintons, there is more to the story. Signaling that a Hillary Clinton presidency would truly be a historically fractious one, the Chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee has now issued a call for the federal prosecutor to investigate Hillary Clinton for “obstruction of justice.”

The Washington Times reports on the potential violation of federal law:

Hillary Clinton’s aides may have obstructed justice by having her emails deleted, the top investigator for the U.S. House charged Tuesday in a letter asking the federal prosecutor in Washington, D.C., to probe the matter. The computer team Mrs. Clinton hired erased tens of thousands of her emails, even though they were subject to a subpoena and preservation order from Congress, according to the FBI’s investigative notes, some of which were released last week.

Rep. Chaffetz argued to the U.S. attorney for the District of Columbia that the presidential candidate may be guilty of destroying records relevant to an ongoing federal investigation.

“In light of this information, the Department should investigate and determine whether Secretary Clinton or her employees and contractors violated statutes that prohibit destruction of records, obstruction of congressional inquiries, and concealment or cover up of evidence material to a congressional investigation,” he wrote.

Hillary Clinton has been badly damaged by reports over her private email use at the State Department. A July poll from AP/GfK reported that a majority of Americans believe Hillary Clinton broke the law with her private email server and four of ten thought it was intentional.

Mrs. Clinton recently hit her lowest approval ratings of the campaign and a record numberof people now “dislike” the presidential candidate.

The call for a federal prosecutor to investigate Mrs. Clinton signals that the fight to hold her accountable for her actions is not over yet—at least not in the Republican-led Congress.
